This is a great airplane for personal travel.  I have owned the plane fo rhte last six years and over time have replaced both engines to include upgrading tyhem with as much equipment as possible for example F&M oil filters, Wolf Air Oil Separator, SkyTek starters, magnetic oil drain plugs, new exhaust, 50 amp generators, etc, etc, etc.  The de-ice boot system is fully functional with new tail boots.  Ive never liked the older Southwind heater systems so the plane has the new (no AD) C&D heater and shell roast you at 12, 000 feet without a burp.  And I didnt stop there - I wanted to change the carpet and in doing so decided to replace all the flooring in the plane.  And the avionics are great, she has a fully slaved HSI system with a fully certified Garmin 430, a Stormscope, engine analyzer, dual ILS heads, etc.  The Century III autopliot has altitude hold and can couple and fly an ILS the computers were recently overhauled and works great.  If you are looking for a solid travel plane which will provide performance and low maintenance for many years to come then this is the plane.  If you are located in a cold spot then youll like the Reiff preheat system which heats the oil sumps and each cylinder.  She has GAMI injectors and using the JPI analyzer so you can get the fuel burn down to 18.9 gph at 165kts.  Nice.  See many more pictures and details at www.aeroeast.com |
