RV-8A, Homebuilt, experimental category airplane. Tricycle gear, 2 place, (tandem) very fast to fly! One of the most popular homebuilt aircraft kits in the world today, from Vans Aircraft.
Built by the owner, an experienced and qualifed A&P (Airframe and Powerplant) FAA licensed mechanic. Airplane licensed (FAA certificate of airworthiness issued)in 2004.
VFR Panel with artificial horizon and heading gyros.
Garmin 250XL radio and GPS.
TOTAL TIME: 95 hours, airframe, propeller and engine! This plane is almost brand new! Owner flew it to Oshkosh and back, it flys great!
Lycoming O-360, 180 H.P. engine. Hartzel Constant Speed Blended Prop.
Intercom in both seats.
Back seat is fully equipped with flight controls: Stick, throttle, rudder pedals so either can fly the plane. Solo from front seat only.
Temper Foam seat cushions sit for hours and they conform to you. 4 probe EGT. 4 point safety harness. Many other improvements, too numerous to list. Some accessories will be included in the sale. Ask.
Priced to sell quick. Comparable RV-8 aircraft go for much more, and are probably not built to this quality!
