Aircraft renovation project for sale / exchange. This aircraft has only 1000 hrs total flight time ever, since manufacture in the early 60s, and has been stored in private ownership for 25 years since it last flew (1984). At 797 hrs total time (1980) it was completely overhauled, relifing the 800 hr engines and props. The plane flew just another 200 hrs before being dismantled and moved, for engineering, then storage. It was one of a small collection of L200s, another flying one, and a spare. Loss of engineering facility changed the priority to storage and continuous certification, and the plane is currently registered with UK CAA, and is complete with all logbooks and last A/Ds signed up . This is an aero engineering project of a well documented type, numerous in Europe, mostly Club and private, and used for training and light taxi.
This aircraft is an original UK demonstrator, then purchased by a commercial company and professionally flown to transport personnel and management on company business. Sold on to private ownership again, the aircraft had complete overhaul at the sale time, and flew out the 3 year C of A, resulting now in this stored project available for spares or repair, including a host of spares and documentation, including some interesting retro items.Even just re-assembled to static, the aircraft looks great, and could be used as a film prop, pending more serious work back to airworthiness again. The screens are missing, mysteriously! Can be sourced easily enough in the Czech. Republic, where there is much experience in maintaining this type, and spares backup if needed. Just the engines and props may be worth more than asked for the whole project, but we wish to follow the renovation route rather than sell for spares only, although we are open to offers in either respect. Our preference is to see this fly again as the lowest houred of its type anywhere.Look it up under "Morava" and see the nice styling, it is worth it.
